How much does it cost to get your car detailed
Agh yes, the most important and frequently asked question, How much will my vehicle cost? Well to keep it short, It depends.
The reason I say that is because there are many different variables to a detail. It depends on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the vehicle, what exactly you want cleaned, what steps you'd like a detailer to take, etc. It is very difficult to give an exact dollar amount to a detail before laying eyes on it.
Most detailers have similar pricing but you can find someone that may be more expensive than others. The reason can be because they have more overhead, they need to dish out more money each month than someone detailing as a side business. They could also use more expensive products because it is easier to work with and does what it's supposed to do really well. The price of a detail doesn't always have to be reflected in how dirty your car is, so keep that in mind when working with someone.
Another thing that can affect your detail bill is the size and condition of the vehicle. It's definitely the most important variable, I mean the bigger and dirtier it is the more time a detailer has to spend on cleaning it.
How much will my vehicle cost?
The answer to your question is anywhere from $100-$600. Starting cost can vary depending if you want just a Basic detail or a Premium detail. Every vehicle is different, but before you assume your vehicle will be around $100 because you don't think it looks that bad, ask your self these questions...
- Is there pet hair on the carpet?
- Are your Seats cloth or leather?
- Are there stains on the carpets or seats?
- When was the last time your vehicle was detailed or did it yourself?
- Do you want any protection added?
- Is there a bunch of trash laying around?
- Etc.
As you can see there's a lot of things you have to take note of to get an understanding on the pricing of your vehicles detail.
If you want to get a better understanding on a price for your vehicle you can always request a quote and when doing so send in clear pictures of your vehicles interior and Exterior (what you request) to narrow down a price range. *Prices are finalized after an in person inspection*
What detail is best for me?
Most detailers have several packages that include a little bit of this and that, etc... I'm here to make your life simple and easy so you can find the best result for your satisfaction. I offer two packages for interior and exterior. A "Basic Detail" and a "Premium Detail". If you are a new customer of mine, rather your car is fairly new or not I would highly recommend starting out with my "Premium Full Detail" because this will give your vehicle the proper care inside and out to keeping your vehicle looking brand new. Now lets say you have a brand new car right off the lot and its not in bad shape, well my answer is still a "Premium Detail" because you will get all the proper protection to keeping your Exterior and your interior protected from sun, dirt, bugs, etc. After your first "Premium Detail", in the future schedule a "Basic Detail" to keep maintaining the proper care for your vehicle. In the end its always your choice this is just my word from experience.
